What is your Myers-Briggs Type?
Below are links to two personality tests which help you to identify and learn more about aspects of your personality. Feel free to take the test and share your results here if you feel comfortable!

INFJ as always...
I've pretty steadily been an INFJ since the first time I took the sorter questionnaire in the late 1980's.

Well as always I am....
INFP
Introvert(89%) iNtuitive(56%) iNtuitive Feeling(38%) Perceiving(22)%
•You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (89%)
•You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (56%)
•You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (38%)
•You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (22%)
Like you DenmarkGuy, I have consistently scored INFP. Every now and then I take the test to see if anything has changed. Looks like my level of introversion seems to be higher than ever!

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Type?
Hmmm . . . this time I scored INTP, and not as strongly on intuition as I usually do.
I'm not sure whether I'm INTP or INFP, it's kind of a draw.

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Type?
ISFJ. That's my usual type, although the (S) isn't very strong at all. Introversion is probably stronger than it's ever been. I'm sure I'm becoming more introverted as I get older! I think I have tested as INFJ before. And maybe even as a P on occasion. But this is the usual.
Introvert(67%) Sensing(1%) Feeling(38%) Judging(33%)
You have distinctive preference of Introversion over Extraversion (67%)
You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Type?
I got INTJ, but I am 50/50 on the thinking and feeling...probably the HSP factor. I sometimes test INFJ as well. Some INTJ's who I know are high in the T tend to not be HSP-friendly.

No need for me to take the tests again; I am INFJ.

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Type?
INFP.
Strong on the I and the N, weak on the F and the P.
I don't know if anyone relates to this. But I've been looking at the MBTI again lately because I've remembered how useful it can be with interpersonal problems. As with many iNtuitives I guess, I had my share of frustrations growing up with Sensors who were critical of me for not being more like them, or just baffled by me, which left me a little baffled with myself. And while we have lots of Ns here, one nice thing this board has taught me is that Sensors can be lovely people and are not people I have to generally be scared of In fact, especially with introverted S types, I sometimes find we have a lot in common. I do like to be aware of communication style differences because sometimes it's hard to get on the same wavelength if you're expecting someone to think like you do, and they don't, and then you start misinterpreting everything they do. But... it's been a good experience knowing HSPs of different types.

After considering the functions, I would have to say that I am INFP, as I am most definitely not Ti dominant. Fi on the other hand is my second nature. If you find yourself in between two types, it would help to consider the functions to determine which one you likely are.

Nucky, I also had to look at functions to type myself. Before that I went back and forth for a long time. Maybe that in itself should have told me I was a P.

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Type?
I identify with INFP.
Thank you uv for reminding us how N and S types can support each other, and make lovely companions and friendships. I think the same thought can apply to people who contrast in their T/F preferences too - I have found very lovely T types who help me discover new perspectives towards myself and the world, but we can share similar ideas and experiences too.
To connect with people who think in similar ways, and also to connect peacefully with those who think differently... I find both to have deep value, and learning typology has helped a lot in this regard.

Holy cow...100% Introverted?!?

I have always gotten INFJ, but the percentages shift a bit. Perhaps my recent over-scheduled weekend with no down-time has made my longing for quiet, introverted time more pronounced!

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Type?
I am no longer INFP but rather ENFP. This doesn't surprise me in the least. Turns out my introversion was nothing more than severe anxiety and panic disorders that I have gotten mostly under control now. I do need time to myself after social exchanges, I do still enjoy solitary walks, but that's because I need to calm down from highly sensitive overwhelm.
You have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (44%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
You have strong preference of Feeling over Thinking (88%)

I agree with you, and also agree about thinking types. And am married to one! This deeper appreciation, however does not stop my husband and I from doing over-the-top imitations of each other in ridiculous voices on those occasions where our opposing preferences are at war I guess that sounds kinda mean, lol, but it is done with humor, not malice.

I fall into the category of INFJ.

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Type?
ISFJ for me, though the S/N is actually right on the border, and the F is also slight. But I am a definite Introvert and a definite J. I've always felt this is an unusual type for an HSP, since most fall on the P side, not J.

Do most fall on the P side? Seems like we have a lot of Js here. So far no strong S types feel compelled to post

Re: What is your Myers-Briggs Type?
I always thought INFP was pretty much the most common HSP type. But, come to think of it, there are quite a few J's on this board.

Always come out INFJ. Sometimes borderline J/P. I think I'm a learned J, but probably more natural P.
