This is a forum for Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) and those who wish to know more about being highly sensitive. We value thoughtful, constructive discussion, but comments that attack another member are not acceptable. Due to the sensitive nature of many members, we ask that you keep this in mind and avoid hurtful, disrespectful or unsupportive comments. We also ask that you do not post or use as your avatar overly stimulating graphics.

Complaints about posts or other content should be sent to an Administrator by Private Message (PM).

The following are general guidelines that influence whether or not a post will be accepted:

1. Personal attacks on posters, other users or any individual are not tolerated, and users who repeatedly post such comments may be banned. Posts featuring swearing, name-calling or otherwise abusive language are unacceptable.

2. We value debate and understand that people often feel strongly about the topics debated on the boards, but please show respect for the views and beliefs of other users. By being polite and civil, you ensure that the topic remains the focus of the debate and that our pages remain conducive to intelligent discussion.

3. Posts that are racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise offensive will not be tolerated. Healthy debate is acceptable but there is a difference between criticizing a government, organisation or belief and attacking people because of their race, gender, sexual orientation or religion.

4. Do not post content which you have copied from someone else and for which you do not have the copyright. Impersonating anyone (including other members) is not acceptable.

5. Blatant advertising, promotion of products or services, or posting of commercial web links (URLs) is not allowed on this board.

6. We ask that you do not publish anyone else’s contact details, including real name, address, place of employment, telephone number, email address, etc, and recommend that you do not publish your own.

7. The Safe Haven forum is one in which members can reasonably expect supportive help. This is not the place to criticize or debate issues, so please be conscious of the specialized purpose of this forum.
